William W. Esseks

William Esseks began practicing law in Riverhead in 1959 upon graduating from New York University Law School.  In 1965, he joined in forming the firm’s predecessor partnership of Tooker, Tooker & Esseks and has practiced from the firm’s Riverhead office ever since.  He has also practiced from the firm’s Water Mill office in the Town of Southampton since 1980.  With over 45 years of experience representing Long Island’s East End families, landowners, businesses, and municipalities, Mr. Esseks has acquired a unique perspective on local and regional land-use issues.  He currently practices in all aspects of civil, real estate, and estate litigation in both State and Federal courts, as well as real estate transactions and development, and zoning, environmental and land-use planning.
