Lisa J. Ross Counsel
After raising her four children on the east end of Long Island, Lisa obtained a scholarship to attend Touro Law School in 1999. While at Touro, Lisa was a research assistant to Professor Marjorie Silver and a senior editor of the Touro Law Review. Lisa graduated from Touro Law School as the Valedictorian of her class in 2002.
Lisa began her legal career by serving as a law clerk for New York’s highest appellate court, the New York State Court of Appeals, located in Albany. While clerking at the Court of Appeals, Lisa had the opportunity to work on hundreds of appeals and be exposed to multiple areas of law.
Lisa moved back to Long Island and joined the firm in 2005. Lisa currently represents clients in connection with a variety of civil litigation matters, including zoning claims, municipal disputes, real property claims, estate and trust disputes, and construction claims. Lisa is also involved in the firm’s appellate practice, as well as handling landlord/tenant matters in the local justice and district courts.
Lisa loves to sing and is a member of the Long Island Sound Chorus, a chapter of the Sweet Adelines. Lisa lives with her family in Flanders, New York.
