Christine Perrucci Smith Associate

Christine has had her hands in over 1,000 real estate closings over the past 10 years. Prior to attending law school, Christine gained real estate closing experience at a busy Long Island law firm where she assisted with residential real estate purchases, sales and refinance transactions. Christine also gained knowledge in the area of compliance at a national mortgage company where she assisted newly hired loan originators throughout the country in satisfying their states’ licensing demands.

Since graduating Hofstra Law School in 2008, Christine has practiced as a real estate attorney, representing buyers and sellers in transactions involving single family homes, condominiums and co-operative units. A large part of Christine’s practice has also included representation of various lenders in hundreds of residential purchase closings and refinance transactions, and working closely with borrowers throughout the loan process. Having represented clients on all sides of the table, Christine takes a hands-on approach to ensure that all parties understand their roles and obligations in the process, allowing the closings to occur as smoothly and expeditiously as possible.

Aside from residential real estate, Christine has also gained experience in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, landlord tenant, wills, trusts and estate planning.

Christine received her undergraduate degree from Union College in 2003. While in college, she co-authored an article on second-hand smoke litigation for The Judges’ Journal, a quarterly publication of the American Bar Association’s Judicial Division. While at Hofstra Law, Christine participated in the school’s Mediation Clinic and had the opportunity to mediate small claims cases in court.

Christine is a native Long Islander and lives in Manorville with her family.
