Amanda Star Frazer Partner
Amanda Star Frazer is a commercial and real estate litigator who practices in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Amanda represents individuals and business entities in, among other matters, complex commercial litigation, contract and business torts disputes, real estate and title litigation, and civil appellate litigation. Amanda has also been retained by national title insurance companies to represent them in matters involving complex mortgage fraud schemes, title agent defalcations, and title insurance coverage determinations, and to represent lenders and property owners caught in title disputes.
Before joining the firm in 2016, Amanda practiced commercial litigation in Florida for nine years, last serving as senior counsel at a state-wide firm. Amanda graduated magna cum laude in 2007 from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar, Dean’s Fellow in the Academic Achievement Program, an editorial board member of the University of Miami Law Review, a member of the Order of the Coif, and an intern for a New York State Supreme Court Justice. She has also served as a CLE lecturer.
Amanda was raised in Montauk, graduated with honors from Choate Rosemary Hall, and received her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University. Between college and law school, Amanda served as a senior writer and reporter for The East Hampton Star. In 2016, she returned to the South Fork and now lives in East Hampton with her husband and daughter.
Amanda speaks conversational Spanish and is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association. In 2018, Amanda joined the board of directors of The Ellen Hermanson Foundation. From 2013 through 2017, she was named as a “Rising Star” in business litigation by Thompson-West’s “Super Lawyers”.
